SNOWDOME

The information on physical dimensions of the Snowvolution's snowdome is given in The Concept page. (Please see the sketch of the snowdome on the right). But the main features are:

• independent rotation of each of the rings (discs)
• independent direction of rotation.
• can be used for skiers and snow boarders.
• maximum tangential speed - fifteen meters per second.

Rotating snowdome concept

Snowvolution presents a new concept of rotating snowdome for indoor snow ski slope. Real snow all year round! It is based on a simple idea of non-stop skiing surface (a rotating ring/disc) that will allow a visitor to cut off time for climbing back.

The snowdome can be used for many different and diverse activities - from practicing or learning to ski, snow board or snowblade, to having some fun ice skating, sledging or hosting group and corporate events .
